1 .Name of the Post & Pay Scale: Scientist B - Pay Scale : Level-10 ( Rs.56,100 - Rs.1,77,500) of the Pay Matrix 

2. Qualification: 

a. Electronics  - 21 - (i) First Class Master's Degree of Science in Electronics! Electronics & Computer Science/ Applied Electronics/ Radio Physics & Electronics from a recognized University or Institute; or First Class Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics/ Electronics Communication & Instrumentation/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Power / Telecommunication/ Electronics & Telecommunication ! Information & Communication/ Communication/ Optics & Optoelectronics from a recoginsed University or Institute; and (ii) Knowledge of computer application. - Corresponding GATE paper in GATE - Electronics & Communication (EC)

b. Computer Science - 35 - (i) First Class Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science/ Computer/ Computer Science & information Technology/ Information Engineering/ Information Technology from a recoginsed University or Institute; and (ii) Knowledge of computer application. - Computer Science & Information Technology (CS)

c. Geo- Informatics -06 - (i) First Class Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science/ Computer/ Computer Science & information Technology/ Information Engineering/ Information Technology from a recoginsed University or Institute; and (ii) Knowledge of computer application. - Computer Science & Information Technology (CS) - Geology & Geophysics (GG)

3. The desirous applicants are requested to go through the complete advertisement carefully and satisfy themselves about their suitability before filling up the application form ONLINE. Candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria of essential qualification, age (with or without relaxation), etc and possessing valid GATE score card (i,e GATE - 2016 or 2017 or 2018) in one of the corresponding GATE paper mentioned above may visit the website http://ntrorectt.in so as to apply/register themselves ONLINE. The applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted. The GATE paper must be related to any one of the disciplines specified as essential qualification for the respective subject/stream (Electronic or Computer Science or Geo-lnfomatics, as the case may be). The candidates must have possessed the essential qualification in such discipline on or before the closing date Of online application.

Age: Not excding 30 years (Relaxable Govemment seravants up to five years in cordance witl tlstructions or orders Sued by Central Govemment). However, tie upper age limit is relaxable as per the instructions issued by the Central Government in this regard from tirne to time for appoinnnt to the posts under Government of India.

General Instructions

1. Candidates are also to fill their correct and active e-mail address and mobile number during the online application/registration as correspondence will be made through e-mail/SMS. The crucial date for determining the age limit, educational qualifications, certificates/testimonials, caste, category, etc., shall be the closing date Of online application/registration for this examination. The date of birth as well as the name of the applicant will invariably be taken from the matriculation/10t certificate issued by a recognised board. No other proof of date of birth and name shall be æcepted Certificates in support Of qualifications must have been obtained on or before the closing date.

2. Degree obtained through Open Universities/Distance education mode will not be accepted for the purpose of Educational Qualification unless it is recognized by Distance Education Council in terms of Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification No. 44, dated 0103.1995 published in the Gazette of India dated 08.04.1995 for the relevant period when the candidate acquired the relevant qualification. Candidates must ensure before applying for the post that he/she is eligible for the post in terms of age, educational qualification, etc. as laid down in this advertisement. If the information furnished by tle candidate at the time of applying for the post is found to be incorrect at a later date, the candidate himself/herself will be solely responsible and his/her candidature I service is liable to be terminated at any time during his/her service.

The shortlisted candidates will be required to appearfor personal inter.'iewcarrying 100 marks which shall consist of Scientific Aptitude Assessment and Personality Assessment
